Hello,

I have a basic Phillips Tivo, with a "A" drive that is the Quantum 20Gb. I did the upgrade to add a "B" drive that was a 80Gb Maxtor 5400 RPM drive. Since I have done the upgrade, I have been having "losts" of recording problems. A lot of times, the red light will show it recroding, but after the show has competed it does not show up in the list. It also 1/2 records shows, and sometimes does "nothing" for recording or records a show then just stops in the middle of recording.

Would this be something to do with heat? Or, did the upgrade not work? IS I do a restore and forget about the B drive? ANY ideas?

Maybe next time it does it, check your temperature. That's a start at least.
