Need Help!- Alias 11/10

I am hoping someone out there can help me out. We had a tornado
outbreak here in Birmingham, Al on Sunday night that caused the entire
network programming on all networks to be preempted for weather
coverage. We watch several shows on Sunday, but Alias is the one "cant-miss", and our boneheaded local affiliate is saying that they are NOT going to air the episode at all. Is there someone out there who can send me
last night's 11/11 Alias episode on tape? We would be very grateful and
would be glad to pay you for your trouble....... We'd love to have Boomtown as well, but Alias is the most important one to us........

Finally, does anyone have any knowledge on a situation like this for a network affiliate? We are being told that the station would have to air
the preempted program on the same day, or they can't air it at all. That
just doesn't make much sense if true, because all you are doing is screwing over the very viewers you have to have to stay alive....

Thanks very much, and if you can help, email me at:

Sorry, I don't have a VCR, but I missed the Alias the week prior because of the programming mixup.

I was able to find a copy of it on Kazaa, though (it was a 150MB file). If you don't mind using P2P you might be able to find it there. Not sure if this is allowed on the forums, but don't see the difference (in this case) between P2P and mailing a tape to someone.

Yeah, I missed it too for the same reason. Damn weather.

I had no luck on Kazaa, but I did find it on eDonkey. It's 430 megs though (VCD format). It's Episode 206 - "Salvation".

Here's a link for eDonkey: ED2K Link

If you don't get to see it, a shot by shot recap (along with sarcastic comments) will be available at http://www.televisionwithoutpity.com by the end of the week (or at least before the next episode).

Well, I have an update and some good news for those in the
Birmingham area (otto, hope you are)......The local ABC
station here has done an about face after apparently receiving
a ton of complaints, and are scheduled to show the following
Tuesday night: (technically Wednesday morning)

1:35 am: Alias
2:35 am: The Practice

Why it took complaints to get them to do what they should
have done in the first place is beyond me, but this is great
news if they do as they say they will......

FYI: The NBC station here is showing the following Saturday night:
12:00 AM- American Dreams
1:00 AM- Law and Order C.I.
2:00 AM- Boomtown

I am going to post this info on the Season Pass Alerts board
as well.

Thanks to everyone who offered to help me with Alias!

Dennis

Well, I'm close to Birmingham (Huntsville area), but probably not the same station. I'll record that time manually anyway, just in case.

And I'll keep eDonkey downloading. You never know. :D

I can't believe Dixon and Jack Bristow are gay lovers! That episode sucked.

Damnit. The channel did show it last night.. at 2:05am. So I only got the first half of the show.

Oh well, my download was nearly complete this morning, it'll be done by the time I get home.
