Congrats dagnabit cursed Raiders.

The two man rush rears its ugly head and 21 consecutive completions later Gannon is a record holder. Romo breaks Shanon's arm, spears Portis in the back, and we will welcome him back as a Bronco when he retires. (Once a 49'er always a 49'er in my book) Speaking of 49'ers Rice, well what can anyone say. Woodsen, ditto.

It was MNF's 500 game anniversary, and I enjoyed the flashbacks. They played 70's tunes "Do the Hustle" and took the, what were state of the art graphics, and made them a small cube inside their graphics.

Dandy was Dandy, and Cosell, well... :)

At least they did get the obligatory "There's powder in Denver" shot in, albeit late.

Cursed Raiders.

John Madden should never, ever wear a yellow blazer again.

It's really amazing that they can not reproduce a Howard Cosell. As much as people did not like him... he made Monday Night Football an event.

They didn't even successfully match the color of the old ABC Sports jackets...Al and John's new jackets were too yellow. Oh, well, at least the patches with the red/blue/green versions of the ABC logo looked authentic enough.

A couple of years ago, Fox made their broadcast of one baseball game look as if you were watching it in "the olden days," so it started out with a grainy black-and-white picture, horrible sound, no graphics, and only two cameras; each inning, they'd move "forward in time" until they got to modern times in the 7th inning.

My point is that I'd like to see ABC, or Fox, or somebody do something like that with a football game. If the NFL wanted to fully participate, they could even move the goalposts up to the goal line for the first half of the game or something like that. :D
