24: Power failure a blessing

Last week we had a power outage on Tuesday night, and we were unable to record or watch 24.
The following day I looked up 24 on TiVo and found that the previous week's 24 is repeated on one of Fox's cable channels Monday night and Tueday afternoon.
The result was that last night we started watching last week's 23 (9-10 am) at about 8:30, and when it was over went right to 10-11 am. We timed it right, catching up to live after the last commercial break.
Two consecutive 24s has to be the closest thing to crack TV has to offer.

I thought about watching the first season since I like Keifer Sutherland but I despite Fox so I didn't.
I got pressured into recording the 24 marathon and I watched it in 4-5 hour chunks. Now that's crack. :)
Watching an episode at a time for season 2 is painful.

I didn't watch the first season either, and I was also pressured into recording & watching the marathon.
We watched 24 from about 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. with just a couple of breaks for showers and to get fast food, finishing the series over the next few nights.
Now there's a Lost Weekend (look up the film on imdb.com if you don't get the reference).

My husband doesn't have a lot of time for TV, which is why he loves our TiVos so much! Last season, we watched 24 about once a month, and watched 3 or 4 eps at a time.
It's really hard to watch just one.
