The interface is might impressive, as is the feature list. It runs Linux, and java and Macromedia Flash, and offers the option of wireless extension boxes for multi-room capability, DVD drives, etc etc

I see this as a good thing - some real competition to TiVo (and ReplayTV) and an incentive to accelerate providing some of the features users have been clamoring for!
