Freakazoid?

This is one of those shows I wish I would have caught years ago. Now all I have are occasional mentions. I had even forgotten about the show until last night; I was looking up Norm Abram's (New Yankee Workshop) age on IMDB, and found out he did a cameo on Freakazoid as himself, in an episode called "Normadeus". Now I've got to find that episode... :)

I'm sure there are people here that watched it--anybody care to fill me in on the gist of the show, and any details you might remember from the Normadeus episode, so I can live vicariously through your memories?

Freakzoid was a brilliant show. I vaguely remember the episode you speak of, not enough to live through my memories though. Does Cartoon Network still run Freakazoid late night?

my daughter used to like it...probably due to the frequent mentions of 'pooh gas' while they were chasing various baddies through the sewers.

Now that I've done some plumbing work in my house, I also refer to it as pooh gas.

Flashback! In the long gone times before I got my TiVo, every time I woke up too early in the morning I would turn to the Cartoon Network, because it was the only place where there would be something decent showing at 5AM. And of course, there were Freakazoid reruns at that time. :) So it grew on me.

But then... I got my TiVo, so I stopped watching F! There's always something better showing at 5AM. :)

Newsflash! Freakazoid was picked up by my wishlist--started running early Tuesday morning. Looks like one episode per week"night". Need more info? No you don't--you own a TiVo! :)

Cartoon Network--somewhere around 2am or something. I'll have to try a search by title--do you have DTV or a stand alone?

Hmmm, looking more into it, Cartoon Network isn't on the channels I recieve anymore. We just switched to digital cable and I redid guided setup, I may have chose the wrong package or not told it that I recieve the channel.
