Reposted here from the Underground per suggestion
I've got an SA Phillips unit running 3.0 with a TurboNET card that I bought a while ago (I think it was part of the first run). A few days ago, my TiVO began to fail to make the daily calls - I get a "No Dial Tone" error. I could no longer ping my tivo.
So, I tried searched here for some tips on troubleshooting the problem. I've tried restarting several times, different cables, reseating the card, different DHCP servers, etc - nothing helped. Also tried the card in a second TiVO - same results.
Finally, looking at the logs, the TiVo does not see the card. No DHCP requests are coming from the TiVo. The link light is always on so that's not helpful.
So, is the card dead ? Anyone else ever had one just die like this ?
I contacted Mark at 9th Tee - instructed me to post here so others could help me troubleshoot and so Jafa could take a look.

Go back and read the item description for the TurboNet at 9th Tee. It specifically indicates that tech support for the TurboNet is supplied through this forum. Jafa is the developer of the TurboNet adapter and he responds to all posts here regarding TurboNet problems. If you're that concerned, do a search for his user name and then send him a PM and ask him for help directly. I'm sure he wouldn't mind. Mark McCorkle of 9th Tee is a great guy to deal with. I have always gotten prompt replies from my e-mails and extremely fast service whenever I've placed an order. If you want a TurboNet for your Tivo then 9th Tee is the only game in town.

Well, back to the problem at hand - here I am, in the forum awaitng Jafa to fall like manna from heaven and tell me my card is f**cked. Then I'll get the secret handshake needed to get it replaced.
