My Sony T60 has a bad HD. It made a sound like a ball bearing boucing on a thin plate of glass. Now TiVo is stuck at "welcome, powering up".

The disk doesn't spin anymore. Literally. Cannot be seen by anohter PC's BIOS, cannot be seen by PowerMax. Very bad...

I have read the upgrade instructions, but they wont help me b/c I don't have an image to restore to the new disk. How can I proceed? Is my only choice a new TiVo?
