E! True Hollywood Story on Saved By The Bell premieres Sunday, December 1st at 8:00pm.
If anyone has ever read Bill Simmons over at
http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/arch...bill&root=page2
this has a huge possibility for unintentional comedy.
This is going to be great! :)
I can't wait.

Another Bill Simmons fan! It was a sad day the other week when he announced that he's going to Hollywood to write for Bill Simmons. I know the Corey Haim episode scored a perfect hundred on the UCR scale. Don't remember many references to the SBTB episode, but it's obviously got big potential...

He mentions the episode where Jessie takes all the caffine pills. I think I actually remember him mentioning they should do a True Hollywood Story on SBTB at some point, but I could be wrong.
A Jimmy Kimmel show with Bill Simmons writing...I'm there.
I do hope he occasionally writes a column though.
Back to topic...
I have to admit, it will be interesting finding out what went on behind the scenes of one of my favorites shows growing up.

Kimmel's getting a new late night show (might be the Politically Incorrect spot) and SG is one of the writers. I believe he's still going to do the articles for ESPN the Mag (reprinted on Page 2) and the occasional Page 2 column.

Don't know how I missed this thread, I'm a big Bill Simmons fan, his newest column talks a little about the episode.. I recorded it and was a little disappointed, They only had Screech and Mr Belding for most of the interview stuff and the other cast was just sound bytes from stock footage, still it was cool to watch and brought back a lot of memories.

I just got around to reading his column. I'm glad to see his E! True Hollywood Story on SBTB come to life. :)
I love his ramblings columns.
