Heh! I'm watching the movie Fallen on dvd, and both Tony (James Gandolfini) and Janice (Aida Turturro) are cops in Denzel Washington's precinct...
Cool flick, by the way, if you haven't seen it...low-key, creepy supernatural thriller about an executed murderer who is able to transfer from body to body, and uses his gift to "haunt" Denzel (who put him away in the first place).

I recently re-watched "Get Shorty" and realized it was Tony Soprano as the henchman/ex-stuntman that frequently gets beat up by John Travolta :)

I see James Gandalfini in the promo spots for the upcoming series "Brilliant, But Canceled" on Trio, but I have no idea what short-lived series he was featured in. Can anyone clue me in?

The only TV series he is credited with is a guest appearance on the short lived series "Gun" in 1997. He was in episode #1 as "The Thug". :)
His other 29 credits are all movie credits as far as I can see.
He was good in The Man Who Wasn't There, a Coen Brothers movie with Billy Bob Thornton.

Watched "Riding in Cars With Boys" over the weekend. (My wife made me watch it, honest!). Dr Melfi played the mother of the Beverly character (played by Drew Barrymore), and bumped-off Pussy was an uncle.

I'm sorry to hear that I wasn't the only one stuck watching it! I was praying for a unconsciousness almost the whole time.

One of the greatest fight scenes in movie history, is in the film True Romance with Christian Slater and Patricia Arquette.
The fight is near the end of the film, between James Gandlofini and Arquette in a motel room.
This movie is worth seeing just for that scene.

Yah, i was just going to mention that about True Romance. Unbelievable scene, and when you go back and see it's Gandolfini, it's even more amazing.
Did anybody notice that Paulie's girlfriend a few seasons ago now plays the Latino nurse on Scrubs.
