I've got a couple of old 14 hour TIVOs that I upgraded to nearly 160 hours a couple of years ago - complete with lifetime subscriptions. Now I'm hearing that the new low end TIVO 2's are being sold for a couple hundred bucks and have a bunch of cool new features to boot.
Questions: (hopefully not too dumb and not asked a dozen times a day here)
Are the new TIVO features worth upgrading for?
If I buy a couple of new TIVO 2's can I
"A" - upgrade them with larger hard drives as I did with my originals?
"B" - Transfer my lifetime subscriptions from the old units to the new ones?
Thanks for your help in advance.

Ps. Is TivoMad still posting? He was a great help to me last time I needed it.

What new features? Oh, there is the USB port for networking instead of adding a TurboNet card.
A - Yes. Right now the limit is 137GB per drive, so 120GBs are a nice match
B - No. You can eBay the old units.

Not to forget more RAM and a faster processor.
Although not having the benefit of a side by side comparison with the newer units I have no way of telling how this might translate in real time performance.
