Airnet from 9th mounting HD problem

Hi,
I just upgraded my TIVO with a second hard drive and everything went well so now I have an A and B drive. The A being the original Maxtor drive included with my Sony box. I added another Western Digital 80 gig B drive and everything seems to work fine with both drives in the Sony unit.
Now I am trying install my new Airnet adapter and it won't mount the active root partition. I received an MFS error so I'm using the force option and it gets me past that error but then I get an error saying "Error - Unable to mount partition "/dev/hdb4" which is my Active root partition that it detected earlier.
I'm using the boot CD and the newest driver nic_install_20020907.zip on a floppy disk.
I'm using the following install command
/mnt/fd0/nic_install airnet --force 3.0-01-1-010
I'm wondering if it has something to do with my 3.0 version.
I have the A drive (Maxtor) connected as a slave drive on my primary IDE adapter.
Any thoughts?
Thanks.
