Hello
I was wondering if there is a hdvr2 immage posted anywhere so I can get my 120 gig drive setup.

Why not use your current HDVR2 drive as the image and run the following command from MFStools 2.
(old drive hda (Primary Master), new larger drive hdb (Primary Slave))
mfsbackup –f 4138 -6so - /dev/hda | mfsrestore -s 127 –xzpi - /dev/hdb
No Image needed, it just takes the old drive copies it to the new one and sets it up to use the added space.
Hope this helps!
Let me know if you need any more help.

Just curious. I thought we couldn't use primary master because of byte swapping or something like that. Also wouldn't it be:
mfsbackup –f 4138 -6so - /dev/hda | mfsrestore -s 127 –xzpi - /dev/hdc
Thanks!

When the MFStools disk booted up I think I used the option for not using byteswapping. Makes for faster backups/restores. I could be wrong here, but I know I did use the primary master because I did use /dev/hda, and the operation worked out great.
Looks like I made a typo earlier, thanks for catching that.
Thanks.

The reason I want to get an immage is so that I can have the drive already setup so the TV will only be down for a few minutes, The times that I am home others want to watch TV so I just want to say that thursday at 10, you cant watch TV, and all recordings will be lost, but it will only take me a few minutes.

You don't need to use byteswapping when using MFS Tools. It's faster not to, as you can use DMA, which will make thing go much fatser.
