1: How very interesting that after taking only 6 episodes to go from 1943 to 1996, they're now going to apparently spend 4 episodes on 1996 to the present...looks like it's gonna become much more intense from here on out.

2: Matt Frewer and Heather Donahue, creepy--who'da thunk it? :D

Spoiler Alert! (highlight to read)
So Allie finally shows up tonight. Seems Lisa has inheirited her dad's (Jacob's) protection from harm from the aliens.

So why the carney theme?

Over all I am still very impressed....

Yeah, kind of freaky to see the Blair Witch girl, particularly with all the usage of forests :)

A real kicker of an episode tonight. Really dying to see the next 4 episodes. While the first 5 episodes were incredibly entertaining, this one held me captive for the entire two hours.

Anyone else find it ironic that Allie was born under the sign of the Gemini?

I've enjoyed the series...up until this episode. This one was really a drag to watch. The previous installments held my attention, but I found myself drifting w/ this one. It just seems like the characters are getting weaker, w/ the exception of Matt Frewer's character. It's so great to see him again. Lisa is a lousy drummer.

Wow, I had the opposite reaction. This episode really gripped me as I wanted to see how the characters would develop.

Same here. This is definitely a major stepping stone between the generations, much moreso than the last. I found the character development to be riveting, especially the ending with Crawford's daughter sleeping with Matt Frewer's character.

Yes, Lisa is a lousy drummer :)

Ok, just wanted to see if anyone felt the same. I'd felt the same anticipation you described, SkittlesDFW, regarding upcoming episodes up until the last one. I guess my favorite moment was when MF's character was talking about "Lil' Eric". ;)
