Do you watch a specific show at a specific time? Or is it just whatever looks good when you sit down?

I'm still adjusting to TiVo.

I'd long ago given up on sitting down to watch a certain program at a certain time; I just used TV as a time-killer.

At first TiVo simply gave me much more entertaining ways to kill the same time. But I found myself compelled to watch more TV, trying to keep ahead of the expirations. I was watching good stuff, but still not really choosing what I was in the mood to watch.

I'm finally learning to let things expire, and even to cancel upcoming recordings I know I'm not going to get to because I'm more interested in what's already recorded. (Horror! I'm learning to budget my TV time again!)

And last night, I actually turned off the TV and listened to some CDs for a while.

I'll beat this thing yet.

I try to watch whatever is oldest unless there is a movie on Tivo that I've been waiting to see.

We just sit down and watch what we like in order of preference. Sometimes we'll let a regular show accumulate 2-3 episodes. At any given time there are 100+ items in Now Playing.
