My Tivo has been recording on the wrong channel for the last few days. What's wrong and what can I do? I use it with Dish Network with IR cable.

1) We could use some more info. Do you examples of the planned number and the actual number? What model # of receiver do you have? Does it work when you do it by hand?

2) How does this relate to upgrading your TiVo? Shouldn't this be in the Help Center?

if your tivo is turning on at the correct time, but either wont change channels, OR changes to the wrong channel, here is the fix. unplug your cable box, wait a few seconds, then plug it back in. that worked for me very well thank you!

unplug the power cable to your receiver, then plug it back in and turn on the receiver. that fixed me just fine!
