Different versions of S2 40hr.?

I just got my S2 40hr. (230040), ordered directly from TiVo's web site. In the system info, it says the manufacturer is AT&T.- Are there other manufacturers for this unit (such as TiVo itself?)
- If so, why did I get an AT&T unit instead of a TiVo unit?
- Are there any differences that I should be aware of (specifically with regard to drive upgrades)?
Thanks.

There's 2 40 hour units.
The original with the same motherboard as the 60 hour. It has USB 1.1 ports.
The new one with a smaller motherboard ala the 80 hour. It has USB 2.0 ports.

How do I tell which one I have? And does the AT&T vs. TiVo manufacturer thing make a difference?

If it's an AT&T (soon to be known as Comcast) unit then the USB1.1 model has buttons on the front like the DTiVo. If the AT&T using has no buttons then it is the latter USB2.0 model.
Previously the AT&T units had a different contract covering them, so they were not able to participate in the Hotline to Hollywood thingy. I assume the TiVo sold models will be treated as regular TiVo models.
HW wise they are identical.
