Because the standalone TiVo's MPEG audio compression reduces Dolby Pro-Logic signal separation, I'd like to see an option to record the full uncompressed audio bitstream, obviously with the caveat that this will require about 25-30% more disk space at Best Quality.

For certain recordings, this would be a very welcome option. I'm thinking of movies mastered in Dolby Surround and classical music concerts, both of which suffer from MPEG compression artifacts.
