I've been reading various web pages and are ready to do an upgrade.

I have a stock Sony SVR-3000 (love it!) and a spare 120GB IDE drive, but wanted to know if anyone in N. Cal was able to purchase the IDE ribbon cable and the Y power splitter at Fry's Electronics. Do they carry different varieties or what type do I need to get? Also, heard that they have the 3Com 3C460B USB adapter - can anyone confirm?

Or is there another store I should pick up all these things? Sorry if this is redundant, but I haven't seen any links which have specifics on the cables I need. Thanks,

Btw, I'm planning on using the MacTivo blesser and try to connect the Tivo to my Airport Base station 2.

You should be able to get both at Fry's. As far as I know the IDE cable in the Tivo is a standard IDE, and the Y power adapter is standard as well.
