FAVORITES button on the remote. FAVORITES menu, for that matter.

Some of us care less about the Tivo features and more about the DSS features and this should be considered by Tivo.
I am a DirecTV customer who is tired of VHS tapes and wants to take advantage of the pause-live-TV feature too. Replace my VCR and let me get time-shifting as a bonus.
One of the most important features of a good DSS box is a FAVORITES button on the remote that leads to one-click access to his/her 30 most viewed stations.
I am not aware of a Tivo box that has this feature. Instead, I'm supposed to rifle through a series of menus and sub-menu's to get to my FAVORITES.
Put a FAVORITES button on the remote. Let DSS customers who care more about VHS replacement than automatic profiling get the simple features established in good DSS boxes years ago.
You Tivo folk seem a bit myopic to me. Stop thinking that DSS is merely a good way to get data into Tivo- try to instead start thinking that Tivo is a good way to record DSS. It'll get you places.

You have this now... set up your list of favorite channels. Now, start watching live tv. Now, bring up the Live TV Guide. Now, the next step only has to be done once - Press the Display button (if you don't have one on your remote try the Enter button). Change the "Channels:" option to "Favorites". For now on (unless you or someone else changes that option again) every time you bring up the Live TV Guide, you'll see only your list of favorite channels.
