Series 2 60hour Upgrade Advice???

I have a Series 2 60 hour unit with version 2.2-01-2-1F0 software. Looking for some advice on best approach to upgrading hard drive. I have reviewed the Hindale how-to and MFSTools2.0 info.
Options I’m considering are 1) add 120GB secondary drive to original 60GB drive, 2) replace original 60GB drive with one 120GB drive, or 3) replace original 60GB drive with two 120GB drive. I assume option 1 would be easiest, but options 2 and 3 leave me with a spare backup drive and more space/better upgrade path.
Any advice on pros/cons of my options and recommendations would be appreciated.
If I go with replacing the original drive, can I go with one 120GB drive initially and easily add another 120GB drive in the future? – or – should I go ahead and spend the extra dollars to add both at the same time?
Thanks in advance for your help.

If you go with option 1) I would make the 120 gig drive the A and the 60 gig drive the B drive.
I went with option 3) and added two big drives, the 60 gig tivo drive made for a good computer hard drive with more than enough capacity for that purpose.
Watch out for the Maxtor 120 gig hard drives, you'll find plenty of posts (most from me) with all the problems associted.
Good Luck.

I went with your third option and keep the 60gig in a box just in case.
Most people here recommend replacing your 60 with 1 drive first to ensure it works fine. You can then use the MFSADD command to bless a second drive in the future. I took the plung and upgraded to two 120's and things have been running fine since early October.
