Thanks to Tiger and Hinsdale, I'm upgraded to 150 hours!

Big thanks to you guys.

I bought a 120 GB 5400 RPM WD as a last resort replacement for the main drive on my dead DSR6000. (I was waiting for CC to have stock of HDVR2 and was going to exchange under PRP, but they don't have them yet and their latest statement was that I would only get a credit. B@$tards. That not what my PRP says! #%#@#*$!!)

Anyway, I got tired of fumbling through shows trying to decide what to keep and what to toss with the meager 35 hour capacity. I decided to add the new drive to the working unit.

Of note:
1. Contrary to the instructions, the test restore took longer than the backup. (Why, I don't know.)
2. My unit has a 4703XXXX serial number, but only had one drive. BIG, HAPPY SURPRISE!
3. I paid $99 after rebate for this drive at CC. B&M only.

Dead unit (4707XXXX) will keep sitting on the shelf, waiting for CC to get HDVR2 in stock. Salesman offered to buy my current unit for what I paid for it once I paid the difference for the HDVR2. Hmmmm. NO!!
I think ebay will get the HDVR2 if CC honors its PRP or a (currently dead) 4707XXXX upgraded unit if they don't. None of the newer features with USB appeal to me. I'm not paying the difference for an HDVR2, regardless. They are either honoring the PRP or I'm adding a new drive and selling it.

Once again, thanks to the guys that made upgrades possible.
