I just got a 120gb Samsung SV1204H. My cpu only recognizes as 33820. Whats going on here? Is it me motherboard? It is an older AT.
Can anybody help me out?
Any response will be appreciated.

Double check your jumper settings on the drive. I had them wrong the first time, and used the same drives...

Turns out it was the MB. I took it home to a newer PC and it reported 120GB.

This is something that might not have mattered. MFSTools can recognize the entire drive even if your bios doesn't. I had that problem, and fortunately found a post on that subject. I don't think it's mentioned in the Hinsdale instructions.

I just had the same problem, and given Samsung's ridiculously skimpy post-it note-sized "manual" for the thing, I don't feel too stupid for misreading it the first time. You need to put the two jumpers along the bottom row (looking at the drive with the power on the upper left).
