I've recently purchased the Vonage Internet phone service which I enjoy. I've also been a TIVO subscriber for 2.5+ years now.

It just struck me that this could be a good value-added fit to integrate the capabilities of Vonage into a TIVO unit. The TIVO would then become the physical conduit to access phone services over broadband.

I would imagine this would require some engineering changes in TIVO's but could potentially bring TIVO some recurring value-added revenue in the future.
