Phillips HDR212 Single 20GB to Single Maxtor 5400 RPM 120GB.

Upgraded recording time to: 39h51m Best, 144h50m basic.

Me too.

I just upgraded my Series 2 60 hour with an extra WD 5400 RPM 120GB yesterday evening.

Thanks for the info and tools.

I only ran into 2 problems, both of which were easily solved.

1. The boot floppy I created was somehow corrupted, so it never got to the # prompt. After creating a new boot floppy, all was fine.

2. The Master/Slave cable I bought did not have enough distance between the end and the Slave connector, so I had to physically swap the drives so the original ended up on the right (looking from the rear)

The other thing I noticed is that my Tivo is only running 3 degrees hotter (from 41 to 44).
