(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Just 5 episodes on the Sci Fi channel on Monday Feb 24th 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Bidi-bidi-bidi-bidi.

Oh man, cool.
I can't wait to torture my Enterprise loving kids with Buck Rogers. I seem to remember a lot of short shorts on that cute female companion of his also... or is that just my old age?

Man, that's another one I have to watch. Where are you find all this info on these re-runs. Sci Fi's website?
Posted by: zorro100
Yup, their website lets you view schedules for a week at a time, and they usually have 2 months worth of guide data. I just go in there every couple of months and take notes.
BTW, it looks like they'll be showing all 61 episodes of Roswell starting Monday. I've never seen it, so it'll be a good way to catch up.

You do realize that she's probably someones grandmother by now. Don't you have any shame? :D
Personally, if I hear that stupid robot (twigy?) say BBBBuck again, I'll probably smash the TV!

"OFFTHINK! OFFTHINK! OFFTHINK!"
Why do I still remember that?!?
Erin Grey is still a looker, I believe.

It's actually "Offthing, Offthing, Offthing" said by a group of little people in the episode "Shgoratchx" because they wanted to study why females had "bumps." You probably remember it because it's the closest thing to p0rn in the series.
You can see what Erin Gray is current doing at her website: www.eringray.com
You can download the entire series from me on the Kazaa network.

I saw an interview with Erin Gray on the WESTERN channel of all places. It was a "between" movie blurb where they ask the stars what westerns meant to them as they were growing up, etc. She's aged well.

If she's a grandma, I hope she winds up in the same retirement home with me. And no, I have no shame..
(at least about this);)

Tuesday March 25th, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Also, wasn't Princess Ardon, I mean Ardala, the hottie ?

I met Erin Gray in person about two years ago. She looked very good for her age. In fact I hope when I'm around that age my wife looks as good as she did. We talked for about twenty minutes too. She's a very nice person.

Ugh! I liked this series when I was a kid. But, for some reason, I no longer like it. I wonder if they changed something? :p . Anyway, I only lasted 20 minutes into the first episode.

I haven't watched them yet (maybe tonight), but am wondering if I'll have the same problem.
Last week I recorded the "Return of Starbuck" Battlestar Galactica 1980 episode that I remember as the best of BSG 1980 and just thought it was just OK. I can only imagine how much I'd hate the super Boy Scouts stuff if I saw it now.

I remember that Buck Rogers started as a TV movie that was bumped up to a theatrical release. Having been a fan of the original comic strip, I had high hopes. They were dashed.
I'm not that old -- I read the original strips in the 1980s hardcover compilation. Just as I did Flash Gordon, Tarzan, Prince Valiant, Dick Tracy, etc.

On her website, she's selling a cheap looking plastic "Buck Rogers Ray Gun" for $400! Sheesh!

Well, my disappointment wasn't as bad as a couple of weeks ago, when I watched my first "welcome back kotter" in 20 years, but it was pretty bad. Funny, I noticed for the first time how similar the spacecraft effects were to Battlestar Galactica's. The joystick in the fighter cockpits was even the same. (How geeky am I to remember that?)
My next experiment in long term memory will be "Green Acres"

There was a movie several years back that used all the spaceships from Battlestar, and the "hero" was John Boy! (how geeky is that)

That's the one. That movie is way, way, way bad. I mean WAY bad.
Think Netflix has it?

I had recording the first eposide "Awakeings" and I noticed a lot of audio dropouts. I am just using standard TV sound, no home theature system.
I was wondering did anybody else notice this? Later I will check out some recordings I have made since then to see if the problem continues.
I have a Sony SAT-T60 DirecTivo so I was thinking it might be a direcTV problem.
Posted by: spelcheker
Your systems o.k., I had the dropouts also. I guess the scifi channel was having technical difficultys...dificulties.......problems.

If they have it, get the MST3K version of it, yes it is that bad a movie.

When I was in College, we thought that the spandex should get a special emmy for best supporting role. Jumpsuit. Offthink.... Bedi, bedi....
BTW, could her web site have less information? I doubt any of the pictures are newer than 15 years.

I just finished watching these episodes last night.
Is is just me, or has anyone else noticed that all of the women in the 25th century are gorgeous?
As a kid, I thought the princess was a babe (with Erin Gray a close second), but all of the women pilots and "heroine of the week" types are beautiful. Maybe the future isn't such a bad place after all..

I saw Erin Gray earlier this morning hosting an informerical for the "Hollywood Celebrity Diet." Apparently, she's an actress/model now.
