Chris Rock show regular and sometimes guest of Curb Your Enthusiasm Wanda Sykes will be doing her stand-up routine on Comedy Central on Friday, Jan. 10 at 10pm eastern time. This is one funny lady, too bad it's not on HBO since CC has censorship.

She's terrific. I laughed out loud at her stuff on Chris Rock. She seems a little out of place on CYE, IMHO.

She also has a tv pilot and is on Inside the NFL too. She is one busy lady.

I think Wanda is fantastic. My wishlist picked up a Drew Carey rerun she was in last week, and I can't believe she hasn't found more public success.

Entertainment Weekly heralded her comedy special with a good review (And a B+ rating) in their recent issue. I'll definitely be watching :)

BTW...if you haven't seen her in "Down to Earth", she's actually quite funny in it. It's sort of a bit part, but it's still an enjoyable movie.

Don't forget that she's also a semi-regular on Larry's David's Curb Your Enthusiasm (one of my favorite shows!), and plays a fictionalized version of herself.
