Win XP-Let 's See If I Got This Right

I plan on doing an upgrade in the next day or so.

Current system is running on XP Home

Computer set-up as follows:

Drive 1 (Primary Master) 80 gig

C: Drive operating system/Data (All NTFS)
D: Drive Data (All NTFS)

Drive 2 (Secondary Master) 30 gig

E: Drive Empty (FAT32)

I plan on upgrading a Hughes GXCEB0TD with a 120 gig harddrive.

If I've done my homework right, I can just unhook my C and D Drive (Drive 1). Jumper Drive 2 as master and do my copy that way. Is that correct? So E would become my C drive and no worries about XP boots and such.

Thoughts and or comments.

You don't need to move it if you can figure out what the correct devicenodes are (hdc1 instead of hda1, for example). The original TiVo boot disks don't allow you to use primary master for a TiVo drive, but MFS Tools 2.0 allows you to use any layout that's convenient.
