I came across this while I was researching something today--it's old, but possibly the most in-depth interview I have seen him sit for.

Which angel episode was Joss in?
Posted by: Lori
Through the Looking Glass.
He played Numfar, Lorne's brother...he was the one that did the dance of joy...as well as the dance of honor and, later, in "There's No Place Like Plrtz Glrb", the dance of shame. :D
Joss said that he did it because he couldn't teach anyone else to do the dances the way he pictured them in his head.
(Edited to add additional info...)

I didn't even know about that but that was really a great interview. Thanks!

Is it spoiler-free? At least as far as future episodes go? In other words, if we're current on Buffy and Angel right now, there's no spoilers?

No spoilers. Joss hates them. :)

Thanks Lori! Very good interview. Be sure to notice the link to cut parts of the interview at the bottom of the page.

That's awesome!
I'm so happy to have someone acknowledge that Buffy has moved beyond being a "cult classic"--I think that phrase really turns off new viewers.
I had no idea he was Numfar and we thought the dances were hysterical--we do our own versions at home. Must rewatch.
DanT, thanks for the link. I read the bit at the bottom, but read it as "this is the longer version", not "click here to see the rest."
