My 3 tivos have been upgraded and I have to have all 3 drives refixed at one one and I would like to be able to do this myself but I don't know what I need to buy.

I have directv and my current vendor does not plus he is a busy guy and does not have the time to show me.

It there a kit to buy without a drive? I don't have linux on my computer either.

I live in South San Francisco, Calif. and hope to get the things and then find someone to show me how it works (I am willing to compensate that person).

I have a sleep disorder and I am on disability so my thinking is terrible but with proper directions and guidance I think I can do this meaning if my drive acts up (which fixing the drive with my computer is another item I need also to shown how).

Not a big hurry on this, but one of my tivos has had some shows breaking up but it is very sporadic for now.

Also it would be neat to put the call id on my tivo. With caller id on tivo I assume a person has to subscribe to it with their phone company?
