BoP DOA?

So, was this week the series finale for Birds of Prey?
On a side note, notice how they slipped in the Metropolis reference?

Not really a series finale per se, but the last episodes this past Wednesday were the last episodes scheduled for broadcast, yes.
There are 2 remaining episodes "in the can," without airdates scheduled.
But neither of them is a series finale (in the sense that character arcs/plotlines will be wrapped up).

True, I know they didn't get a series wrap-up type finale, they were cancelled. I just meant the last 2 to air. But if there are 2 more un-aired, will they ever see the light of day?

I thought I read somewhere that they WERE going to film a wrap up episode. Something like a 2-hour finale. Did anyone else read that?

You're not hallucinating. According to another thread, there's supposed to be a 2 part finale.

That rumor has since been debunked. There will be no 2 hour finale.
Instead, there will be 2 episodes shot, but they do not have airdates.
link is to rumored spoilers, in case it matters to you

The final two episodes now have airdates.
According to Gotham Clocktower, the WB will air the final two episodes back-to back on Wednesday, February 19th.
I find it odd that they would even bother airing them during sweeps period. <shrug>

Uh, wrong network. Enterprise is on UPN, BoP was on WB.

If they're airing it on a Wednesday during sweeps, that means they're NOT airing an episode of Angel that week (during sweeps). That doesn't look good. Of course, maybe they want to compare the two's numbers.

Whoops, good catch.
I actually like the shows on the WB. I like Everwood, Smallville, and I even like the Gilmore Girls.
So, I have no insult to hurl.
