Would it be possible to add a "Bargains Section" to TiVocommunity? After getting the $20 off TCP, I was thinking it would be great is everyone could go to a central location to find deals on DTV, TiVO, Hard Drives, etc...

I thought this had come up more recently, but the last thread I found was from july. The site typically does not allow posts selling things. Its not fair to the sponsors and the site would be overrun by dealers, ebay people and assorted spammers.

I'm not trying to speak for David, just repeating what was said in the past.

Personally I check jerobi's niftyness site for deals.

I hadn't thought of that. It makes sense, however I did notice avsforum.com has a "AVS Forum Power Buys and Special Items" Is this something different?

Roger is correct.

In that section you mention on AVS...Only AVS can post in that area. It is for specials and group buys. AVS does has a Speical Deals Area, but it is a paid area to use.
