I followed all the How-to instructions to a T.... I'm upgrading a Sony SVR2000 with a single 40GB drive. I was adding a 120 GB drive.
I got as far as creating the backup, restoring to the new drive, plugged in the new drive to TIVO and it booted up fine. I followed the next step, STEP 10 annd did the mfsadd command to expand the capacity. I then proceeded to put the drives back in the TIVO and it sits at the "Your recorder is starting up. Please wait a moment" screen. Even if I just put the original back alone, I get stuck at that screen. The mfsadd section mentions that you can revert back to a single drive, but not how to do that. I would love to start all over, but I can't get it to boot at all.... any suggestions?

Thank you, I tried every possible jumper combination. I was able to restore the backup to the new drive, but when I tried expanding it accross both drives..... NO DICE
I guess I'll just be happy that I have 120Gigs now...
Anyone wanna buy a bracket and/or 40 GB drive?
