Hi all,

I just got my refurb 60 hour Series 2 today. I'm all set with my USB adaptor and all the software to start hacking away but I can't get this box on the network. My box came with TiVo 2.x so I hooked up a phone like and let it update.

Now I have version 3.2 of the TiVo software but I can't connect. I got a Siemens SpeedStream which is in the list of supported USB ethernet adaptors. I tried to set the prefix to ,#401 but after setting that, I could not get out unless I successfully tested so I reverted.

Finally, I deleted everything and started all over from the beginning (bad idea) but still nothing. I haven't gotten a link light. I don't get how I'm supposed to go about setting this up. Am I supposed to remove the dial-up number, change the prefix, and then unplug the TiVo to get the settings?

Oh, I left out that I have restarted a few times. During the (second) setup, I set the prefix then unplugged but no link light.
