I may be covering 'old ground'..But I have noticed that if I watch part of a Film/Program.....Get fed up with it and delete it...It seems to me that my TiVo...accepts that as a 'Thumbs Down' and will not record it again
Now this could be the result of a very fertile imagination!!!!...But is it???...

If you mean it won't record a different episode of the same series, you are mistaken. It doesn't assume you don't like it because you could have decided not to watch it for any number of other reasons.

However, it won't record EXACTLY the same episode or film within 28 days.
