Used blesstivo program BlessTiVo /dev/hbb.
Said the right size HD. Put the drive into tivo
as slave and did not touch the setting for the
A drive. DSR6000 unit when it getts to where the
Phillips logo is it reboots over and over.Any thoughts

When in dylan disk I noticed that the B drive patition table is not right. Tried this on more than 3 drives with same effect.

Thanks for help. This might be the problem.

Did you set the original drive specifically to "Master"? Was there possibly already a second drive in the machine?

If you remove the drive, does the unit boot?

could never get it to boot with the tivo blessed drive., even a second drive in B position. Noticed an t articles said not to have cable select activated. My drives both the a & B were set to cs.

Read an artiical to only use MFSTOOLs well i tried to replace my A drive with an 80g used dd command and then mfsadd the dammm thing worked after that and I'm a happy puppy 100hr tivo :)

Thought I might inform on the cvable select issue. From Tivo my drives where set A drive default cs master or slave and my B drive had no jumpers at all.

The important thing was getting the new Hinsdale December printout. Also was avble to save all setting and recordings. Thanks for all the info.

Glad to say tivo is now working 100%:)
