I am sorry if this may be a dumb question but, is there any difference between the Hughes GXCEBOT and GXCDBOT? I noticed on the ftp.abs.net that the backups dir has a Hughes GXCDBOT listed. I don't want to dl this and find out it is the wrong drive image for my tivo.

[rant]I had a brand new DirectTivo and it died and Hughes basically told me "too bad we don't have enough new tivos to send around for warranty replacements and we can't send you a REFURBISHED unit for 4 months."
So instead of waiting I would "refurbish" the unit myself. I am going to start from scratch with a Samsung 120 Gig drive and if the drive isn't the problem I will systematically fix things from there. I have read most of the Tutorials and FAQs and I am soo ready to do this but I just want to be sure about the D and E models before I start. Any help would be greatly appreciated by a Tivo-deprived junkie :p [/rant]

Those are functionally identical - images for one will work on the other.
