Add a 2nd drive to series 2 question

I have a TiVo series 2 80 hr. I would like to add a 2nd drive of at least 120g. I have read most of the upgrade threads and all of it is quite overwhelming. So, just for a pat on my back, I'd like an opinion on:
1) Can I just add the 2nd drive as drive B, or, since this is a larger drive than the original, do I have to add the larger drive as A, then move the original drive to B?
2) I can get a WD 200g 7200rpm 8mb cache drive for $200 after rebates (yet today & tomorrow). Is it worth using this large drive in hopes that TiVo will support the larger drives in the future, or should I just get a 160g or 120g drive & hopefully save a few $'s?
Thanks for any help is sorting me out..

You can add the 120g drive as a "b" drive if you like. You should really make a back up image for the single "a" drive before upgrading to the dual drive setup incase something goes wrong with the install so you can restore to the original if needed. As for the HD question if it were me i would just stick with a 160 or 120g drive for now.It may be awhile before tivo supports a drive larger than 137g but its up to you which one you want.

Thanks & thanks for the reminder for the backup. Do I have to worry about the swap file size or is already taken care of in the series 2? (it is probably stated somewhere in the forum, but...)
Any idea how large the backup will be if I don't care about any of the recordings? All I care about is the settings.
Maybe BB or CC will have a 160g drive in their Sunday flyer this weekend.

If you want to add swap, you'll have to switch your drives - i.e., make your 120 you new A drive and your 80 your new B drive. You can't add swap to the 80 since its already full.
You can either do a dd (device copy) if you want to keep your shows, or you can do a backup and restore to the 120.

I guess the real question should have been: Do I HAVE to add swap to avoid problems with the larger storage capacity? I know that I have read something about swap in the Forum, but that was many hours ago!
If I don't NEED the swap, then it looks like the easiest thing to do is to back up the 80, and add the 120 as "b".
