Smallville or State of the Union

A true dilema.

Dual tuners - no dilema.

Given that I've never seen a Smallville in my life, it's not much of a dilemma, I'm going with Kristen Kreuk.... Aah, but I jest. Set TiVo to record Smallville, and put it in suspend and watch the State of the Union. At any rate, it's the Bush show for me tonight.

Smallville is in HiDef. This is an easy decision. :)

Yep, you need an option for Both. Not just for DTiVo folks, but also for multiple-TiVo folks, and people who'll record one and watch the other, and the West Coast viewers who don't have a conflict at all.

If Superman was around, we wouldn't need a stinkin' UN resolution.

I completely forgot about Smallville! I think of it as a Sunday show, but without 24, it will record tonight! I'll probably watch Bush live while recording Smallville.

I think I've decided to watch smallville live and record the speech. Then I'll record smallville on sunday if needed.

Sometimes it's good to live in HST (hawaiian standard time..)

I'll probably still be at work when the State of the Union airs. When it's time to watch TV in the hotel room, it will be American Idol time.

Gilmore Girls.

Which one will CNN have a recap of within minutes after it airs?
I rest my case :)

Both. The speech is on at 6:00 and Smallville is on at 9:00. West coast does have an advantage here.

TiVo Smallville, watch SOTU live on another TV.

I'll be watching Tom Welling:), state of the union address sounds quite boring(don't care much for politics:))

Both. ;)

TiVo - State of the Union - watching live as well.
VCR - Smallville - Don't have locals.
With the recording abilities today, there's no reason to miss either.

Smallville, no contest.
The State of the Union Address is always just a big commercial for the current POTUS. I only ever watch Presidential speeches of the spur-of-the-moment, "unshceduled" variety.

it was truely a choice between fantasy and lies.
... or Fantasy and fantasy and lies....
or real world vs. President Bush's fantasy, lies and fantasy.
the line was not completely clear I guess----

Umm... I watched the 'Smallville's from the past 2 weeks instead of watching POTUS... So, I guess that counts for Smallville :)

Tivo Smallville, watch PTI, catch up on other shows, watch The Shield, ignore politicians.
Oh wait, I do that every night.

We watched already-recorded programs and blew those off, along with the local mayor's debate. We control the TV. Moo hah hah.
