Hidden Hills - No Upcoming Episodes?

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Posted by: Glen Blanchard

I set up a season pass for Hidden Hills, and noticed that my HDVR2 states that there are no upcoming episodes. What's with this? Is it on hiatus? Canceled?

Posted by: avaloncourt

I noticed that myself. The NBC website are for HH says "An upcoming episode has not yet been scheduled. Please check back later."

Current scheduling have A.U.S.A. in that timeslot for the next 2 weeks.

I hope it's not cancelled. It's the only new sitcom I liked this year.

I would have seconded that if you had added Good Morning Miami in with it.

Good Morning Miami?? That show was awful.

Hopefully Hidden Hills will return soon...

AW! You're killing me! :D

Then again, maybe I just have too big of a crush on Penny!

I love Hidden Hills - very funny show. GMM started off slow, but it's gotten better.

Posted by: LiveBlues

I like Hidden Hills a lot, but I gave on Good Morning Miami after 1 show.

I hope that HH isn't gone for good.

Posted by: avaloncourt

I think they're just doing a mid-season insertion to introduce a new show.

Yes Hidden Hills is consistently winning it's timeslot and has been picked up for next season. No need to worry.

Same here. Every time I checked the TO DO LIST on my HDVR2 lately, it would say "No upcoming episodes".

"Hidden Hills" is a hidden gem if you ask me. The really dry humor reminds me of Monty Python -- so you can imagine my surprise when they did a quick tribute to MP in one recent episode. :D

Hidden Hills is so great because it's like watching myself on TV!

Count me in as another fan of this show. Along with The In-Laws, best two new sitcoms this year.

I also like Hidden Hills. Just like a bad SAT question:

Hidden Hills is to TV shows about marriage...

as

Scrubs is to TV shows about medicine.

Hidden Hills is very Scrubs-esque, with the main character talking to himself in his head, having daydreams/fantasies, etc. And since I'm a big fan of Scrubs, I think that is why I got hooked on Hidden Hills too.

In-Laws is also not too bad, better than GMM. But I thought I heard that In-Laws has been cancelled. Unconfirmed though.

Andy Richter Controls the Universe is also a similar format.

Posted by: Ensoniq

OH YEAH! Andy Richter!

What happened there? I heard a rumor that Fox sold the rights to the WB? Does anyone know the real scoop?

It's that blue hair that turns you on huh? :D

So is Hidden Hills ever going to come back?

I thought it was a decent show...

Not looking good!

Damnit! I loved that show. It was like my life only without marriage, kids, a mortgage, and a hot wife.

:)

No, seriously. I love that show. It now joins the ranks of Sports Night as a show that was killed too soon.

Posted by: Todd

Darn! That was the 2nd best new show of the season, only behind "Do Over", which has already been canceled. :(

Posted by: scottjf8

Maybe that's why the husband on Hidden Hills was doing a cameo on 24 tonight.

Really a shame. I thought Hidden Hills was one of the most
underrated shows on television, and it was definitely, IMO,
the show that LEAST deserved the brutal reviews it got
from almost every single critic who wrote about it. If you had
never seen the show and just read the reviews, you would
have thought it was one of the worst shows in the history
of television. Usually I agree for the most part with tv critics,
but I think they were way off base here........

Isn't the guy from HH on 24 now (as Michelle's brother)?

It's certainly no worse than A.U.S.A

ugh..this was one of the worst sitcoms. glad it's over.

Elle is now taking that time spot and it was a decent show last year so hopefully it still will be. It's too bad none of the other seinfeld actors TV shows made it. They were all just a lot better working together.

Posted by: Haps

Well the network killed it if anything. The show was a winner. It was good and was doing well in the ratings each week. I can see pulling a hsow to test out some new stuff but they are keeping it off way to long. If there is anychance of getting the show back they have to get it back on the air now and not later.

I don't understand why they are taking shows like Ellie(which I didn't mind) that had poor reviews and ratings and giving them a retoolerd chance while a show that proved it could hold it's own gets taking off.

Watching Ellie is a painful program to watch! I tried it out when it came back but it's sooo bad! What's funny about it? The minor characters just have no real interest, and while JLD is a great actress, this role is NOT her at all and I think it really causes the show to suffer.

Why don't they just do the show "Where's Jerry" where it's everyone but Seinfeld! I would watch it, and I think it would still be a pretty good show.

Posted by: TheDewAddict

Dammit! I guess I'll remove the SPs for this, and Andy Richter (even though I know it was a goner) now. :(
