OZ - "4giveness"

Arrrrrrrghhhhhhh! I hate Keller.

Tonight's roundtable:

What's with the nurse?
Why was Alvarez in the will?
Who's the player behind the Mayor's murder and will Warden Glynn get whacked?
What's Kirk's mom's motive for volunteering and being a friend of Mukada?

Discuss.

OZ is really starting to get strange, even more than it had been. It should have gone off the air last season. I enjoyed it a lot up until last season.

That scene with the nurse was puzzling. Was that a dream of Morales ?? Was that real ?? If so, how come no mention of Morales being dead in the rest of the episode...especially the scenes with the Warden in it.

Devlin is definitely behind the murder of the mayor. no doubt about that. I dont think Glynn will get murdered. It is going to be McManus like i mentioned last week. Omar White is going to kill him.

Robson getting back into the brotherhood was cool. I am glad he is back. Although i think his story isnt done yet. i think he is going to crazy and end up killing Vern somehow.

I was hoping Rebadow was going to flip out and beat the crap out of that librarian with a book. that would of been cool.

That scene with Cyril dropping a deuce in his bed was pretty funny.

As for Keller, you knew he was going to pull something like that. I think it would of been sweet if that happened on the season finale. Ending the series basically where it started. Although i guess FOntana doesnt want to leave any cliffhangers.

Beecher ending up back in Oz was just frustrating for me.

The Alvarez thing is weird but there should be an explanation to come.

Devlin is surely the one behind the killing, that was made pretty clear in the earlier episode.

Now putting Said's killer in the same jail, that's rather interesting, let alone the fact that he was tried, convicted and sent to Oz within a couple of weeks (based on other story lines).

I agree this show has entered the relm of fantasy, that's OK with me but it's not real life anymore.

Though I knew it was going to happen, putting Beecher back in Oz was just lame. They should have at least waited until the last episode. However, it may be worth it just to see the look on Schillinger's face the first time he and Beecher meet up again. :)

The crazy nurse subplot was handled VERY poorly. What is this, The Sopranos?

I will be interested to see how the subplot of the Mayor's murder plays out. It seems SO obvious that Devlin was behind it. Which, judging by how Oz has gotten, could very well mean they are going to go another way with it.

I don't like Kirk's mom. I see what they are doing though. A Kirk will be the downfall of Mukada. Not Timmy, but his mother. It is cool to see Roxanne Hart again. I haven't seen her since Chicago Hope (though most of you probably recognize her from Highlander).

I really thought Rebadow was going to clock the librarian and Pablo would kill him on the spot. It was almost kind of a letdown. Rebadow would be a lot more interesting if God would start talking to him again.

The Alvarez and Cutler storyline was the most interesting to me last night. What I would like to have known was when Cutler's will was changed to give everything to Alvarez. I said the exact same thing as Alvarez when Glynn told him Cutler left him everything. I just can't figure it out. The only reason I can see for giving Alvarez everything would be to cause turmoil between Alvarez and The Brotherhood (and all the Latinos if Morales is dead and Alvarez is brought back in... willing or not). If that is the case it is pretty lame. We never saw any motive for Cutler to specifically target Alvarez or the Latinos. I really hope they focus on this before the end.

Wouldn't it be apropos to have Devlin convicted of murder and sent to Oz?

Poor Beecher. :(

Any bets on who the 'guest narrator' will be for the last episode?

My vote:

Spoiler Alert! (highlight to read)

Said. It's got to be.

So, what is going to happen with Cyril's execution next week?

My guess? The ECT has toughened him up so much that the chair won't kill him. It will make him normal again and after three attempts they will have to release him back into the world.
Hey, it's Oz! You never know. :D

Something weird is going on with the flow of time on this show. Does anyone find it funny that Bousmalis' girlfriend had her baby and its already sitting up and has a full head of hair, all in the course of a week? Maybe this ties into the same time jump with Said's killer being in prison already...

Or did I miss something? :)

She had the baby quite some time ago. That was just the first time she had brought her to Oz.

Beecher ending up back in OZ just plain pisses me off!!

I saw the preview last week. I knew Keller would be up to something but I figured Beecher would be smarter than that!

Is Morales dead?

I loved the "normal" Cyril scenes. I think the only other time I've seen the actor play a "normal" person was in Good Will Hunting/Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back.
