Update for anyone who also ran update2 on a 1.3 Tivo and scrogged their guide db:

The cleanup script jpags sent me seemed to clean up a bunch of things but runupdate.tcl still crashed partway through the showlist after cleaning. So I re-ran guided setup setting it to "antenna", then ran it again setting it back to "cable+satellite". After it was finished the guide db was reinitialized and the PPV update scripts worked again. Thanks to jpags for all his help and for publishing his scripts.

If anyone has their PPV update start failing I noticed the IP for www.geocities.com in updatedtv.tcl is not working tonite, don't know if that is temporary. I just used another IP found by using nslookup and I'm good to go.
