Anyone in the US fancy doing me a favour..?
This is a bit of a longshot but there's an Amazon US product I want to buy (Sony 512Mb Memory Stick Pro -- currently ridiculously cheap) but they won't ship it to the UK.
Are there any Atlantic-hopping US residents (or visiting UK ones) who'd fancy picking one up for me and shipping (or bringing) it to the UK..? I'll happilly pay up front for purchase and postage costs or if you're in central London, I'll pick it up in person and pay cash.
Have you tried ebay?
You can get equivalents for the MSX-512 for £105.00 + possible import duty / vat
Automan.
I thought you were going to say something like you were an heir to the Crown in Nigeria and you needed help with some funds that you could not otherwise gain access too...

Dude...I don't even KNOW YOU anymore! SparkleMotion
Yes, I've been keeping an eye on eBay where the cheapest cards are around $160 but there aren't that many sellers who ship outside the US. Ideally, I'd like to save $20 and slip through the duty police but if all else fails, eBay it is...
Oh and I know someone who wants to transfer some funds from Nigeria -- I'll forward you his email...
Adlopa, it's no longer available via Amazon. However, a vendor I know well, NewEgg, has it available for US$210.00, with free shipping to me.

Do you have a PayPal account?
Are you familar with the motorcycle scene? Maybe there's some trick parts for my Yamaha RZ350 still available over there. In your market, it was called the RD350LC, and nicknamed "Elsie."
:-)
Yep, I missed the boat with Amazon. Thanks for the NewEgg link but $210 (£113) isn't much of a bargain, particularly since eBay power sellers are charging £100.
