SkyEye T-link cant disable IR Blaster

Hi folks,
I recenly purchased a SkyEye T-Link but for some reason I can disable the IR Blaster on set top box setup. Even though I have set Use IR Blaster to no it always saves the settings with the Blaster enabled.
Any ideas? Perhaps resetting the Tivo and performing setup would work.

Cheers

Dave

Have you had 'Backdoors' activated recently? This seems to stop some functionality.

Try restarting the Tivo.

I've not activated anything - I do update Tivo over windows though - I connect Tivo to my PC via the serial link and update that way.

Ther's a bug in the TiVo software where it says that the blaster is enabled when it isn't.

If you want to prove whether the blaster is working or not, view it through the digital viewfinder of a still or movie camera. The IR bulb will show up as a greyish-white disc when lit. Compare that with the output of the peanut if you want to know what to look for.
