Tivo 2 won't recognize Netgear MA111

I installed a Netgear FA120 USB/Wired Ethernet adapter to do the initial Guided setup (which worked flawlessly and in about 30 minutes).

Now I have connected a Netgear MA111 wireless ethernet adapter and the unit will not recognize it. I have cycled the unit with and without the adapter and it will not recognize it.

Any suggestions?

The MA111 doesn't work on every Series 2 unit -- only those units which have a TiVo service number that begins with 230, 240, 264, or 275

MA111 hasnt been tested on the new series2 model (540)? Could someone please verify if it had worked on some people?

I have the MA111. It works but I wonder if my signal is ok. It runs between 40 & 48 and transfers a 30 min. show in about 70 min. from my other Tivo

How do you determine the signal strength?

If you look at the Network settings page, it shows a lot if info such as IP address, etc. It also shows on that page the signal strength in percent.
