Can someone help.

I am very new at this TIVO stuff. I have managed to upgrade my SA TIVO to dual 120gb drives thanks to this (and many other) sites. I would like to update my SA TIVO to include PPV listings (I have DirecTV service). I know this is possible using JPAGS scripts. I have been reading for days and for the life of me I do not understand even where to start. Anything that has been written seems to assume that you already know how to do most everthing, however, I dont know how to do anything. Does anyone have any detailed how-to guide or at least some hints at where to start?

Do I need to set up to do my daily call over PPP or can I still use my phone line?

Do I need to transfer files to my TIVO daily?

How do I transfer files? Can I do it via the serial port w/o removing the drives?
