does HMO work with G-wireless?

Not yet supported ! That is what I am being told by Tivo support ..but I know there has got to be a way?

Using the Linksys 54g router to the linksys usb adapter (b)

Is there already a thread? I cant seem to find it.

Not supported yet - but it may be coming. The beta tester application <http://www.tivo.com/4.7.asp> recently added some items on the fourth page that specifically deal with wireless setup.

The LinkSys 802.11g/b router apparently works with the LinkSys WUSB12 adapter but only at 802.11b speeds

An alternate solution would be to use a G wireless bridge through a hub.

This works just fine as long as the usb adapter is a WUSB12, not a WUSB11

I don't quite understand what the "not supported yet" responses mean??

Since they added the questions to the beta questionnaire, it looks like TiVo might be looking for people who have 802.11g hardware -- something that they might be looking to test in a beta.

Of course, this is all pure speculation...

Since there are (at this time) no USB adapters for 11g, that seems pointless.

Maybe they do want to check new drivers so all the 11b adapters will work with 11g access points. Seems like 11g access points cost little more than 11b ones, and "faster is better" you know.
