One thing that concerns me... the pictures showed the DirecTV guide, and the manual made no mention of the TiVo guide. I'll be very upset if they did away with the ability to switch to the TiVo guide. The DirecTV guide bites IMO

Yes, the manual refers to the TiVo Guide as the "List Guide".

WOW!!!

Those pictures now make the waiting much worse!

Even though they were taken with a digital camera, still looks amazing compared to my HDVR2 hooked up to the Mitsu.

Me hopes for suprise shipping this week.... (crosses fingers)

Please tell me that it has the TiVo guide as well and not just the DirecTV guide!

Whoops....nevermind. Thanks Doug.

Well I have to assume the Tivo guide is still there. My question though is whether there are HD logos on the Tivo guide.

Speaking of logos, I noticed they were missing from NOW PLAYING.

I absolutely LOVE the OTA signal strength check screens - you can check all available frequencies without having to go out of this screen. Wonderful and different from my Samsung TS-160. The "peak" strength is also nice.
Also, the on-screen ID of resolution (I'm assuming when you change it with the up arrow it displays this) is a nice touch.

This makes the waiting soooo much worse

Yup, seeing the pictures makes the wait even worst.

Note to self: buy plasma.

Someone needs a polarizer on their lens

That would help with the reflections in the shots on the plasma display...

Burn in isn't a problem except for the stupid 100% white border around all the menu screens. I'm running my menus in negative mode to counteract it.

That's not as reported, so it would have been an easy way for KC to prove his point: <http://www.tivocommunity.com/tivo-v...626#post1851626>
