Angry Tivo Problems

Hello,

I have an old Phillips 14 hour tivo upgraded to 61 hours. Yesterday my Tivo suddenly stopped recording sound. All the sound effects work but any tv station does not have sound. I know everything is hooked up right because when I unhook my tivo the sound works fine. All old shows that I have recorded still have sound. Another thing is my Tivo automatically cancelled ALL of my season passes. I came home today and to my horror all the shows I wanted to have recorded in the last 3 days were not recorded and all tivo told me is that someone in my household had cancelled them. Well I am the only one in my household and I havn't even touched my remote in 4 days. (I have been out of town). I checked with my neighboors and there were no power outages or anything while I was gone. Does anyone have any ideas what may be the problem??

Thanks

Aaron

Well I figured out the sound problem. my Audio inputs and irblaster ports I believe may be fried. I switched from the s-video and rca audio inputs to the coax connector and there the sound was but my irblaster did not work anymore. I was planning on cancelling my digital cable anyways since band of brothers is done with but I am still frustrated with my tivo for not taping the Family Guy marathon today, and all m other season passes from the last two days.

I had the same problem about 1.5 months ago. The problem then was a bad RCA cable.
