DSR6000 and TurboNet Problems

I hate to start another thread to talkabout this.

I bought a turbonet card, but skipped the part about not having to install any software if you have 3.0 or above that is mention on the 9th tee web site. Read about that after my problems. I did it the way that is mention on silicondust website, step by step. Did the the reflash for tivo and than the drive install. I even backed up by drives before hand.

So the install went good, i've got a link light. Just for eaz i set it up for DHCP to start off, the router is showing the DTivo getting it's IP. I'm not able to ping it and it's not able to call out and i've put in ",#401". It fails on the third step. Rebooted severl times.

Any ideas. Can i go back to my backup image and it reflash tivo. The problem is that i want to setup a static IP, I don't use DHCP.

Hi,

Once you have run tivoflash there is no need to run it again.

To change to a static IP address simply install the harddrive and run nic_install again.
